Winter sports in Garmisch – Olympic conditions!
Garmisch is offering innumerable possibilities for sports
and recreation such as skiing or snowboarding in the half pipe
at the glacier or over the hilly slopes of the Fun Park or relaxed
bob sledding.
Winter-Hikes and Horse-sleigh-tours
You can explore the Werdenfelser Land on the ramified road and
path network riding the horse sleigh or walking, passing by frozen
lakes and snow-frosted forests. The snow-covered alpine world
will instantly make you forget stress and pressure of everyday
life. The hike takes 2-4 hours.
For larger groups we offer catering on the way with mulled wine
and schnapps.
Skiing – snow-guarantee well into springtime
Until well into springtime, the glacier skiing resort on Zugspitze
is a magnet for alpine skiing fans. Beginners as well as advanced
skiers and ski racers will find their favourite slopes. 118 km
of varied slopes offer all degrees of difficulty.
Cross-Country-Skiing
Cross-country fans will get their money's worth on 110 kilometres
of well-tended cross-country ski runs. Around Garmisch-Partenkirchen
one can find varied levels of difficulty.
Nordic Cruising
In winter, nordic cruising is an ideal alternative to jogging
and walking. Regardless of condition, and age, everybody can do
well to his body and well-being. Our hotel has the latest products
